Single- or three-phase medium-voltage capacitors with flat windings in a steel housing, with porcelain terminals on the roof. Both single-phase and three-phase capacitors are characterized by a low loss coefficient (tgδ) and favorable partial discharge characteristics (high ignition and extinction voltages). These properties are due to the pure film dielectric. MSD's self-healing capacitor manufacturing technology allows the economical production of medium voltage capacitors without the use of flammable and environmentally harmful oil charges. The capacitor is composed of a large number of high-quality self-healing MKP elements, which are connected in stainless steel housing.
